Wisconsin State IDs can now be used as proof of residency when purchasing a license, and will now be recognized when scanned with your Go Wild scanner.  SELECT HERE for tips on using the scanner to locate a customer record.  PLEASE NOTE: at this time, a State ID CARD is not eligible to use as proof in the field of a WI hunting/fishing license like a WI Driver’s License. ​​ ​

THE 9-DAY GUN DEER SEASON BEGINS NOV 23
The gun deer season starts on Nov. 23, but the big week for license sales is always the week leading up to it (Nov. 18-22). This is a good time to take a look at the ​ DEER HUNTING  button to the left.   This page includes license tutorials, maps, and frequently asked questions to assist you with deer license sales.

ARCHERY DEER SEASON IS NOW OPEN
​Hunters who wish to hunt with both vertical bow and crossbow will need both the Archery Deer and Crossbow Deer licenses.  They can purchase one of them at regular price and purchase the "upgrade' to use the other weapon for an additional $3.  No additional harvest authorizations are issued with an upgrade license.  More information can be found HERE​.

BONUS ANTLERLESS HARVEST AUTHORIZATIONS ON SALE!​  How many are left?
Bonus Antlerless Harvest Authorizations are now on sale for all remaining units.  Customers may still purchase one harvest authorization per day until a unit is sold out.  Customers will be required to indicate the zone (Forest Zone 1 or Farmland Zone 2), deer management unit (county), and land type (public or private).  SELEC​T HERE for sales instructions.​​

FARMLAND (ZONE 2) ANTLERLESS DEER PERMITS AVAILABLE NOW
All deer licenses purchases starting July 1st will include the optional add-on for the Farmland (Zone 2) antlerless harvest authorizations.  Customers will be asked to provide the Deer Management Unit (county) and land type (private or public) during the sale.  For those customers who already purchased their deer license prior to July 1, they will be eligible to redeem them for free at a DNR Service Center, or online at gowild.wi.gov, or at an authorized sales agent for a $2 service fee.SELECT HERE for instructions.  Visit the Deer Hunting link to the left for more 2024 deer season info.​

FEDERAL MIGRATORY BIRD HUNTING STAMP PRICE CHANGE
As of August 1, 2024 the fee for the Federal Migratory Bird Hunting Stamp has increased from $28.50 to $30.50.  The new price is reflected in Go Wild and will charge the correct amount.  Please note:  Per the US Fish and Wildlife’s policy – Federal Migratory Bird Hunting Stamps are not refundable.​  SELECT HERE for more information on the Federal Migratory Bird Hunting Stamp.​

CREATING NEW USER IDs FOR GO WILD
All license agents completed a new sales contract prior to receiving your new license equipment.  This contract requires license agents to create usernames/passwords for each individual user that operates the system, and to no longer "share" one username/password for all users.   Please begin creating individual user accounts using the instructions HERE
