Bonus Antlerless Harvest Authorizations go on sale Starting August 15 at 10am. SELECT HERE for a printable poster. They will be available online at gowild.wi.gov or at non-DNR license locations across the state. Customers may purchase one harvest authorization per day until that unit is sold out. Customers will be required to indicate the zone (Forest Zone 1 or Farmland Zone 2), deer management unit (county), and land type (public or private).
NOTE: SOME DEER MANAGEMENT UNITS ARE "SPLIT" BY HABITAT TYPE
Ten Deer Management Units (DMUs) (Adams, Chippewa, Clark, Eau Claire, Jackson, Juneau, Marinette, Monroe, Oconto and Wood), are divided between Forest and Farmland Management Zones. If the customer selects one of the ten counties listed above, be sure to ask which area of the county they will be hunting in… Forest Zone or Farmland Zone. They will need the correct zone listed on their harvest authorization. SELECT HERE for a detailed map.
EARLY GOOSE SEASON SEPT 1-15
Hunters must purchase $3 early goose tag in addition to small game, HIP survey, State Waterfowl stamp and Federal Duck Stamp. (Note: stamps are only required only for hunters age 16 or over).
SELECT HERE to see the Migratory Bird license guide.
BEAR HUNTING SEASON BEGINS SEPT 7
The Bear License will not show in the product list. Instead, look for the Class A Bear Carcass Tag. The Bear license will be offered as a required add-on to that tag. NOTE: Only customers who were awarded a harvest tag in the 2022 drawing will have this product available. Select the Bear Hunting buton to the left for more information.
BOAT RENEWALS? HOW DO I DO THAT?
You can renew Boat, ATV, and snowmobile registrations on your license terminal via two methods: There is a Quick Sale renew option, or you may renew through their Customer Record. Select the Vehicle Renewal button to the left for more info. Note: Original and title transfer registrations must be done at Gowild.wi.gov or via mail in application.
CAN'T FIND A LICENSE IN THE PRODUCT LIST?
If a license does not show on the product list, there there is most likely a reason. Here are a few places you can look to find out:
- Check their Active Products and Points. They may have already purchased that license.
- Check the Cart button. The customer may have begun a transaction online, and it may be waiting in the shopping cart to be purchased.
- There may be a cheaper option such as a New Buyer, senior, or combo license. Example: Spousal fishing is not offered to seniors. It's cheaper to purchase separate.
