NEW! SHARP-TAILED GROUSE SEASON IN 2025
The sharp-tailed grouse license is acquired through an application process similar to bear or bobcat.  Customers have until 11:59 on August 1 to submit their application. The customer will be included in the harvest drawing, and if unsuccessful, they will receive one preference point. If they are successful, they will be notified and are eligible to purchase the tag, along with a small game license.  Visit the PERMIT APPLICATIONS button to the left for more info.

FARMLAND HARVEST AUTHORIZATIONS AVAILABLE JULY 1
Deer licenses purchases will now include the optional add-on for the Farmland antlerless harvest authorizations.  Customers will be asked to provide the Deer Management Unit and the land type (private or public) during the sale.  For those customers who already purchased their deer license prior to July 1, they will be eligible to redeem them for free at a DNR Service Center, or online at gowild.wi.gov, or at an authorized sales agent for a $2 service fee. SELECT HERE for instructions.

AUGUST 1 APPLICATION DEADLINE APPROACHING
August 1 is the deadline for Bobcat, Fisher, Upriver Sturgeon Spearing and Sharp Tailed Grouse permit applications.  Applicants have until 11:59pm on August 1 to apply.  On August 2, those application products will no longer appear in the product list of Go Wild.  Note:  There is no longer an application process for Fall Turkey.  Select the PERMIT APPLICATIONS button to the left for more information.

WHY CAN’T I FIND THE SPORTS LICENSE FOR A SENIOR (age 65+)?
The Sports license is a combination license (Fishing, Small Game, and Gun Deer) that is available to customers age 18-64.  Seniors age 65 and up will not see this license product in the catalog.  They should be directed to purchase the Senior Small Game, Senior Fishing, and the Gun Deer License separately, as the total cost would be much less than the Sports License.

SPOUSAL FISHING LICENSE
The Spousal Fishing license is a popular license for legally married couples.  It is the one exception for a license that can be purchased for another adult.  Only one party must to be present, but in order to get license approvals for both, customers will need information for both parties (date of birth, driver license, SSN, etc) to find their accounts. For detailed information on how to sell Spousal Fishing, or the similiar Nonresident Family Fishing License, select the Fishing link to the left.
